Back exhibiting together for the first time since the lockdown hiatus, Grace Hughes & Lars Magnus Holmgren present Ecstasy & Distinction, a mixed media event featuring painting, photography, digitally enhanced photo-montage and film. Ecstasy & Distinction (in the face of extinction) represents a body of works formed within the socio-political, high drama, cancel culture meltdown miasma of the pandemic lockdown, where we were all preached to like helpless puppies via a disturbing theatrical junk soap opera cast of news reporters, politicians, medical, military and law enforcement officials, then spat out the other end, after an out of key encore post the main act, of the facing global crisis to try to make sense of our part in society at large, once again.
